Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the milk processing plant.
- Plan and monitor milk procurement, reception, processing, packaging, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure timely production to meet daily production targets.
- Monitor pasteurization, homogenization, chilling, packaging, and storage processes.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000.
- Supervise production, quality control, maintenance, and warehouse teams.
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards throughout the plant.
- Monitor raw milk quality and coordinate laboratory quality testing.
- Ensure proper operation and preventive maintenance of dairy processing equipment.
- Minimize product losses, milk wastage, and production downtime.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, sales, and quality assurance teams.
- Maintain production records, quality reports, and statutory documentation.
- Investigate production or quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Train and mentor plant employees on SOPs, hygiene, and food safety practices.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and performance reports for management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of dairy processing operations.
- Knowledge of pasteurization, homogenization, chilling, and packaging processes.
- Good understanding of FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and food safety regulations.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Production planning and inventory management.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of dairy processing equipment and preventive maintenance.
- ERP/SAP and MS Office proficiency is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
