Your impact
We are hiring a Lead Electrical Engineer to be based at our India office. This role will focus in providing technical capability in Electrical engineering in Data Center projects; working with the Data Center Lead, focusing on technical aspects and project management.
Main duties:
Lead Electrical multi-disciplinary/functional team in the region to deliver Data Center and other technically challenging projects.
Perform engineering tasks on the electrical services from concept, BOD, 35% to 100% designs (including calculations, computer simulations, specifications etc.) for Electrical infrastructure in Data Center projects.
Provide technical guidance to project and design engineers and resolve any technical problems faced during design and construction stages.
Ensure that consistent quality standards and conformance with design plans / specifications are maintained across the project and coordination with other disciplines to ensure consistency across the project.
Support in preparing proposals and bids when needed.
Lead project/site meeting with Client, PM and Consultants from other disciplines (internal and external) through all stages of the project.
Understand and follow plans, procedures, workflows, systems and tools to meet specific project requirements.
Liaise and coordinate relevant technical issues with other disciplines.
Build cultivate and build relationships with client generally as a Doer/Seller role.
Support site supervision and plant commissioning activities when required
Here's what you'll need
Degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar
Extensive years' experience in leading the design of major electrical project or / and leading electrical position of a fast-track project, preferably in the high technology or industrial sector
Technical knowledge and understanding of Engineering, Design and Construction for High Voltage and Low Voltage Electrical systems from Preliminary Design to Commissioning and Handover
Familiarity with relevant Local Codes and international standards to ensure compliance.
Significant years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 years in Data Center Projects.
