About the Role
We are looking for an organised, creative, and proactive Digital Marketing Assistant to support our marketing operations across multiple channels. You will play a central role in keeping projects on track, growing our online visibility through SEO, producing engaging social media content, and editing high quality video. This role suits someone who is equally comfortable with creative work and structured organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Organisation and Administration
- Keep marketing projects, calendars, and content schedules organised and on track
- Manage files, assets, and documentation so everything is easy to find
- Coordinate deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks
SEO
- Conduct keyword research and apply on page SEO best practices
- Optimise website content, blog posts, and metadata to improve search rankings
- Monitor performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console, and report on results
Social Media and Content Creation
- Plan, create, and schedule content across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Design graphics and visual assets using Canva
- Write clear, engaging captions and copy with excellent grammar and tone
Video Editing
- Edit short and long videos for social media, ads, and other marketing channels
- Add captions, transitions, music, and effects to produce polished, professional content
- Adapt video formats for different platforms
Requirements
- Advanced level of written and spoken English, with strong proofreading and editing skills
- Proven experience with SEO fundamentals, including keyword research and on page optimisation
- Experience running and managing paid ad campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads, or similar)
- Proficiency in Canva and at least one video editing tool such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
- Strong organisational skills and great attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently
- Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and best practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with project management tools such as Notion, Trello, Asana, or ClickUp
- Basic graphic design knowledge beyond Canva (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Klaviyo
- Copywriting experience for blogs, ads, or landing pages
