- System Maintenance: Maintain, test, and repair electrical substations, switchgears, transformers, and distribution panels.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and rectify faults in heavy-duty machinery like cranes, hoists, rolling mills, and furnaces.
- Automation & Controls: Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), PID controllers, and automated process control systems.
- Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) to avoid costly production downtime.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce electrical safety codes, grounding systems, and lockout-tagout (LOTO) protocols.
Key Qualifications
- Education: ITI, Diploma, or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance (heavy manufacturing or steel plants preferred).
- Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
