Guitar Faculty Job Description
Position: Guitar Faculty / Guitar Teacher
Department: Music Department
Organization: Tansen School of Music and Dance
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct guitar classes for students of different age groups and skill levels.
- Teach basic to advanced guitar techniques, chords, scales, rhythm, and music theory.
- Prepare lesson plans and practice materials for students.
- Monitor students’ performance and provide regular feedback.
- Maintain discipline and positive classroom environment during sessions.
- Prepare students for performances, examinations, and stage activities.
- Coordinate with branch admin and management regarding class schedules and student progress.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of musical instruments and classroom equipment.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and musical growth among students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of acoustic and electric guitar.
- Ability to teach beginners as well as advanced students.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for music teaching and student development.
- Prior teaching experience in a music institute is preferred.
Experiencenimum 1–2 years of teaching experience preferred.
