Position: Project Manager – Railways
Location: Rajura, Maharashtra
Experience: Minimum 12+ Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Preferred) or relevant engineering discipline
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Railways to lead and manage railway infrastructure projects at Rajura. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of railway projects while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of railway infrastructure projects.
- Prepare project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Oversee construction activities including track works, earthworks, bridges, stations, and related railway infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with Railway standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Review project reports, billing, BOQs, and contract documents.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Lead project teams and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress review meetings.
- Ensure timely submission of project documentation and reports.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Railway Construction and Infrastructure Projects.
- Expertise in Project Planning and Project Management.
- Experience in Contract Management and Vendor Coordination.
- Knowledge of Railway standards, specifications, and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and large project teams.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Railway Track Works, Earthwork, Bridges, Stations, or Railway Electrification projects.
- Experience working with organizations such as Indian Railways, RVNL, DFCCIL, RITES, IRCON, or similar railway projects.
