Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily production meetings with the team to achieve daily production targets.
- Monitor and control absenteeism and overtime (OT) hours.
- Achieve production efficiency as per management goals and objectives.
- Maintain 5S standards on the shop floor.
- Ensure adherence to safety practices during production activities.
- Prepare and maintain daily production reports.
- Perform hourly production monitoring and ensure smooth workflow.
- Control scrap, rework, and rejection to improve productivity in coordination with the Quality team.
- Ensure proper handling and knowledge of different types of fabrics and upholstery materials.
- Possess working knowledge of stitching machines and production equipment.
- Allocate and distribute work effectively among tailors/operators for optimum production output.
- Ensure quality production as per defined product quality standards and parameters.
- Manage mixed production lines efficiently and avoid production issues arising from product variety.
Required Skills
- Strong team handling and manpower management skills
- Good understanding of production planning and shop floor management
- Knowledge of upholstery/furniture manufacturing processes
- Problem-solving and coordination abilities
- Basic reporting and documentation skills
Educational Qualification
- Polytechnic / Diploma / Degree in Engineering or relevant technical field
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Textile / Upholstery / Furniture manufacturing industry
- Have experience handling a team of 20+ workers for at least 2 years

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
