Fitters need to Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and measurements Perform fitting, assembling, and installation of fabricated metal parts Use hand tools and power tools like grinders, drills, cutting machines, and welding support tools Carry out marking, cutting, grinding, and finishing of metal components Ensure proper alignment and dimensional accuracy of fabricated structures Assist in welding, drilling, tapping, and bolting operations Perform maintenance and repair of fabricated parts and equipment Follow safety standards and procedures in the workshop Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and quality team for smooth operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Skills Required: Knowledge of fabrication processes and tools Ability to read and understand technical drawings . Fitters need to have Basic knowledge of measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.) Good hand-eye coordination and precision skills Understanding of industrial safety practices
Qualification: ITI in Fitter Trade (Mandatory)
Experience - 1 to 2 years of fitter experience
