Maintenance Manager – Food Manufacturing Plant

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager / Plant Maintenance Manager / Engineering & Maintenance Manager to manage the maintenance function of a food manufacturing plant.
The role will be responsible for preventive and predictive maintenance, breakdown management, root cause analysis, machine reliability, maintenance planning and team management, ensuring minimum downtime and smooth plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement Preventive & Predictive Maintenance schedules for plant equipment.
- Lead the maintenance team during machine breakdowns and emergency situations.
- Minimize equipment downtime and ensure quick restoration of production.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major and recurring breakdowns.
- Identify recurring equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Maintain machine history, maintenance records, downtime reports and corrective-action reports.
- Coordinate with Production to prioritize critical maintenance activities.
- Ensure timely inspection, lubrication, servicing, calibration and replacement of critical components.
- Improve equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency and plant uptime.
- Manage mechanical and electrical maintenance activities across the plant.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in Plant Maintenance / Engineering & Maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on experience in maintenance planning, troubleshooting and breakdown management.
- Ability to lead and manage a maintenance team.
- Strong understanding of production-critical machinery and maintenance systems.
- Candidates from Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Textile, Pharma, Chemical, Engineering or other manufacturing industries may be considered where their technical experience is relevant to the role.
