ZDF Solutions is a U.S.-based logistics and freight brokerage company specializing in refrigerated imports, exports, intermodal transportation, Full Truckload (FTL), Less-than-Truckload (LTL), and other freight services. We coordinate shipments between ports, warehouses, customers, and carriers throughout the United States.
Job Summary
The Inbound Coordinator (IC) or Appointment Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and coordinating delivery appointments for import/export containers, intermodal shipments, FTL, LTL, and other freight shipments that require appointments. This role serves as the primary point of contact between warehouses, customers, Logistics Coordinators (Dispatchers), Customer Service Executives, and carriers to ensure appointments are secured promptly and shipments move efficiently while minimizing storage, demurrage, per diem, detention, and other avoidable charges.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule warehouse delivery appointments across the United States.
- Coordinate appointments for import containers, export containers, FTL, LTL, and other freight shipments.
- Monitor shipment ETAs and proactively schedule appointments.
- Communicate professionally with warehouses, customers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Verify delivery orders, warehouse locations, appointment references, POs, and delivery requirements before confirming appointments.
- Reschedule appointments when operational changes occur.
- Escalate appointment issues immediately to prevent delays, storage, or additional charges.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all appointments.
- Build strong working relationships with warehouse personnel.
- Ensure all communication is properly documented through email for accountability and tracking.
- Coordinate closely with Dispatch and Customer Service to ensure shipments are delivered within free time.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, freight forwarding, or warehouse scheduling.
- Experience coordinating import/export containers, FTL, LTL, or intermodal shipments.
- Prior Customer service experience.
- Knowledge of U.S. ports and warehouse operations is an advantage but not mandatory.
Working Hours
- Full-time.
- Night Shift (India) supporting U.S. operations., CST zone : 5:30pm -2:30am IST
