About the Organization
A reputed multi-specialty hospital in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Finance Manager to oversee and manage the organization's financial operations, statutory compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of accounting principles, and experience in managing finance functions within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards and applicable regulations.
- Monitor cash flow, fund management, and working capital requirements.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management for improving profitability and operational efficiency.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts in coordination with various departments.
- Monitor budget utilization and variance analysis.
- Implement cost-control measures and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure effective utilization of financial resources.
Statutory Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of returns and financial disclosures.
- Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards and legal regulations.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Management
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Monitor collections, vendor payments, and outstanding receivables.
- Maintain healthy relationships with banks, vendors, and external stakeholders.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Facilitate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Develop and strengthen internal control systems and financial processes.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Banking & Treasury Operations
- Manage banking transactions and relationships with financial institutions.
- Oversee fund allocation and treasury operations.
- Support management in financial planning and investment decisions.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Promote a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience after obtaining the CA degree.
- Experience in the hospital, healthcare, or service industry will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Tally, SAP, or other accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
