The Learning & Development Executive is responsible for identifying training needs, planning and conducting training programs, monitoring employee development, and supporting organizational learning initiatives. The role focuses on enhancing employee skills, performance, and overall productivity through effective training interventions.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Development
- Identify training needs through discussions with managers and employees.
- Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs for employees.
- Conduct induction and orientation programs for new joiners.
- Facilitate soft skills, behavioral, customer service, and functional training sessions.
- Develop training calendars and ensure timely execution.
Learning Management
- Prepare training materials, presentations, manuals, and SOPs.
- Maintain training records, attendance, and feedback reports.
- Track employee training progress and certification status.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback.
Performance Support
- Work closely with department heads to address skill gaps.
- Support employee development and career progression initiatives.
- Recommend learning solutions to improve productivity and service quality.
- Monitor post-training performance improvements.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure mandatory compliance training is completed on time.
- Prepare monthly training reports and MIS.
- Maintain training documentation for audits and inspections.
- Track training hours and employee participation.
Employee Engagement
- Support employee engagement and development activities.
- Organize workshops, coaching sessions, and learning events.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR or Learning & Development is preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or HR.
- Hospitality, Retail, F&B, or Service Industry experience is preferred.
Skills Required
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of training methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong organizational and reporting skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate employees.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Kannada (preferred for Bangalore locations).

- Training completion rate.
- Employee skill development and assessment scores.
- Training effectiveness and feedback ratings.
- Induction completion for new joiners.
