We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic, and people-oriented HR Intern to join our Nellore team. This is a work-from-office role ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about human resources and are eager to grow into a well-rounded HR professional. The intern will primarily support recruitment and hiring activities and will progressively take on broader HR responsibilities, with a long-term view of becoming an HR Representative.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Hiring (Primary Focus)
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, and referrals
- Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic/video screening interviews
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates
- Maintain and update candidate trackers and recruitment dashboards
- Draft and post job advertisements across relevant platforms
- Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Support offer rollout coordination and candidate onboarding initiation
HR Administration (Learning & Growth)
- Assist with employee onboarding documentation and orientation coordination
- Maintain HR records, databases, and employee files accurately
- Support HR policy communication and documentation tasks
- Help coordinate employee engagement activities and HR initiatives
- Assist with attendance, leave, and HR MIS reporting
Location POC (Growth Objective)
- Serve as the HR point of contact for Nellore-based employees over time
- Liaise between Nellore employees and the central HR team
- Address employee queries and escalate issues appropriately
- Support HR operations
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- MBA with HR specialization (preferred)
- BBA with HR specialization (considered)
Skills & Attributes
- Excellent English communication skills — both verbal and written (mandatory)
- Strong interpersonal and people skills with a warm, professional demeanor
- Smart, proactive, and quick to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a genuine interest in people and HR practices
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently with a minimal supervision.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and job portals is required.
