Yashoda Hospitals is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Radiology Typist to support the Radiology Department by accurately typing and preparing radiology reports. The candidate will be responsible for transcribing dictated reports, maintaining patient records, and ensuring timely delivery of diagnostic reports while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Type and format radiology reports including X-Ray, CT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, and other imaging reports.
- Transcribe radiologists' dictated findings accurately and promptly.
- Verify patient demographics and report details before final submission.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and diagnostic information.
- Coordinate with radiologists and department staff for report corrections and clarifications.
- Upload and update reports in the Hospital Information System (HIS) / Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Ensure reports are completed within the defined turnaround time.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of radiology reports.
- Review reports for spelling, grammar, and formatting accuracy.
- Assist in administrative and clerical activities within the radiology department.
Required Qualifications
- Any Graduate.
- Certification in Medical Transcription or Medical Typing is preferred.
- 1–8 years of experience in a hospital radiology department preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology procedures.
- Good typing speed and accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Hospital Information Systems.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
