Job Summary
As a US Healthcare Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying, screening, interviewing, and coordinating healthcare professionals for positions with leading hospitals and healthcare organizations throughout the United States.
You will work closely with experienced recruiters and account managers to understand client hiring needs, source qualified candidates, manage the recruitment process, and ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop professional communication, negotiation, recruiting, and relationship management skills while working in an international business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing
- Search for qualified healthcare professionals using job portals such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Monster, CareerBuilder, and internal databases.
- Utilize Boolean search techniques and various sourcing methods to identify suitable candidates.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive candidates.
Candidate Screening
- Review resumes and applications to assess qualifications.
- Conduct initial telephone and video interviews.
- Evaluate candidates' experience, certifications, licenses, communication skills, and career objectives.
- Verify employment history and eligibility requirements.
Recruitment Coordination
- Match candidates with appropriate client requirements.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and clients.
- Prepare candidates for interviews by providing relevant information and guidance.
Candidate Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication throughout the hiring process.
- Address candidate questions regarding job opportunities.
- Negotiate availability and start dates.
- Ensure a positive recruitment experience.
Documentation & Reporting
- Update candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and interview notes.
- Track recruitment activities and hiring progress.
- Prepare recruitment reports when required.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with senior recruiters and recruitment managers.
- Participate in daily team meetings and recruitment planning.
- Continuously learn US healthcare recruitment processes and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable speaking with candidates over the phone.
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and internet research.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to work permanent night shifts aligned with US business hours.
Preferred Skills
While not mandatory, the following will be considered an advantage:
- Previous experience in customer service, BPO, sales, or recruitment.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and online job portals.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
