Job Title: Head Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Nurse to lead our nursing team and oversee the daily operations of our hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and nursing staff
- Oversee daily nursing operations, including patient care, medication administration, and documentation
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor and address patient and family concerns
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and nursing activities
Requirements:
- BSc Nursing (BSN) or MSc Nursing (MSN) degree
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and nursing informatics
- Certification in a specialty area (e.g. critical care, pediatrics)
- Leadership certification or training (e.g. Nurse Manager Fellowship)
