1. Main Responsibilities
Pre-OT -
OT room sterilization, fumigation, cleaning, instruments as per surgery ,
linen, set trolley, to operate Autoclave and sterilize all instruments accordingly,
Anesthesia machine, diathermy, suction to be checked before operation.
Intra-Operative-
Assist surgeon & anesthetist by passing instruments,
Maintain accurate count of gauze, needles, instruments Handle
send specimens to lab Monitor blood loss & assist in vitals monitoring.
Post-Operative-
Shift patient from OT to ward/Recovery room ,
Collect used instruments for decontamination Dispose biomedical waste as per BMW rules Update OT register & surgery records.
2. Qualifications & Skills:
Education: 10+2 + Diploma/Certificate in OT Technician / Operation Theatre Technology
Registration: Delhi Paramedical Council Registration preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years OT experience preferred.
Skills: Knowledge of sterilization, surgical instruments, stress management, teamwork
Shift: Must be available for night shifts & on-call duty as OT runs 24x7
3. Key Requirements for Interview:
Discipline - One mistake in OT can be life-threatening
Count management - Must know gauze/needle/instrument counting
BMW rules - Knowledge of Red/Yellow/Blue bin waste segregation
Emergency handling - Should stay calm under pressure
4. Salary & Benefits:₹20,000 - ₹30,000 per month based on experience + Overtime
Night duty allowance extra
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
