Role description
Techlead responsible for designing and delivering scalable data platforms using Python, Databricks, and AWS, with full ownership of architecture, development, and team leadership with 8-10 years. The role involves building and supporting Enrolment Team enabling Databricks to HBase integration, with a strong focus on observability, scalability, and multi-tenant architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design & development of data pipelines and backend services
- Build and optimize Databricks workflows (Spark, jobs, pipelines)
- Develop Python-based services & REST APIs for integrations
- Architect solutions leveraging AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch)
- Ensure scalability, performance, security & cost optimization
- Drive observability (logging, monitoring, ing)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams & mentor engineers
Required Skills
- 8–10 years in software/data engineering
- Strong Python development (backend + data processing)
- Hands-on Databricks (Spark, notebooks, workflows, clusters)
- Strong AWS Cloud experience
- Expertise in data pipelines, distributed systems & API development
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools
- Experience designing and supporting multi-tenant architectures.
- Good understanding of distributed systems and data processing frameworks.
