Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Head to lead and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations for refrigerator manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement, demand planning, inventory management, production planning, warehousing, logistics, supplier development, and cost optimization while ensuring uninterrupted material availability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, planning, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage demand forecasting, material planning, and production scheduling to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers and negotiate commercial terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory optimization strategies to minimize carrying costs.
- Coordinate closely with Production, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Sales teams to support manufacturing requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement of critical refrigerator components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats, insulation materials, sheet metal parts, and plastic components.
- Drive supplier performance through audits, evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs and prepare MIS reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory regulations.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives using ERP systems and supply chain analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory practices.
- Proven experience leading large supply chain teams and managing multiple suppliers.
