About the Role
ZICA Institute, Madhapur is looking for a confident, passionate, and professional Career Counsellor to guide students and parents in choosing the right career path in the creative and media industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding career opportunities and suitable courses.
- Understand students’ interests, skills, and career goals and recommend appropriate programs.
- Explain course details, career opportunities, fees, and admission process.
- Handle enquiries through calls, walk-ins, WhatsApp, and other channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain proper records of leads and follow-ups.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Achieve monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Coordinate with the academic and management teams for smooth student onboarding.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, career guidance sessions, and promotional activities.
- Stay updated with career opportunities in Animation, VFX, Graphic Design, Video Editing, Gaming, and other creative fields.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in career counselling, education counselling, student admissions, or a related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling, convincing, and follow-up abilities.
- Confident, presentable, and professional personality.
- Ability to understand student requirements and provide the right guidance.
- Target-oriented and motivated to achieve admissions.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace, WhatsApp, and CRM tools is preferred.
- Experience in the education or creative-media industry will be an added advantage.
