Job Description:
DV Electromatic is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI TELECTRICAL.
Core Responsibilities
1. Panel Wiring & Assembly:
- Perform internal wiring and termination of LT VCB panels as per electrical drawings and schematics.
- Assemble electrical components such as relays, contactors, meters, and breakers in panels.
2. Testing & Inspection:
- Conduct insulation resistance (IR), continuity, and high-voltage tests.
- Check control circuits, interlocks, and protection relays for correct functioning.
- Ensure all testing meets company and IS/IEC standards.
3. Panel Installation & Integration:
- Assist in panel mounting, busbar fitting, and alignment.
- Connect VCB panels with LT switchboards or distribution systems when required.
4. Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
- Identify and correct wiring errors, component faults, or control circuit issues.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing panels when needed.
5. Safety & Compliance:
- Follow all electrical safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Ensure proper earthing and short-circuit protection are implemented.
- Maintain compliance with IS/IEC standards for LT panels.
6. Documentation & Reporting:
- Update wiring diagrams if modifications are made.
- Record test results and inspection checklists.
- Report material requirements or technical issues to the supervisor or engineer.
7. Coordination:
- Work with design engineers and production teams to ensure quality and timely completion.
- Coordinate with quality and testing departments during final inspection.
Requirements:
- Minimum : ITI ( Industrial training institute ) in Electrician / Wireman/ electrical trade .
- Knowledge or hands-on experience in control panel wiring is a must.
- hands-on experience in bus bar panel .
