Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day store operations, inventory movement, and stock availability.
- Handle receiving, verification, storage, tagging, and issuance of merchandise/material.
- Maintain accurate stock records, GRN, inward/outward registers, and system entries.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO, product segregation, and systematic storage.
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Warehouse, Accounts, and Store Manager for smooth operations.
- Monitor stock levels, fast-moving/slow-moving items, damaged and obsolete stock.
- Ensure proper merchandise handling, housekeeping, safety, and security within the store.
- Support stock audits and periodic inventory reconciliation.
- Prepare daily/weekly MIS and inventory reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, inventory controls, and loss-prevention practices.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory & stock management.
- Good command of MS Excel / ERP / POS systems.
- Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
- Good communication and coordination ability.
- Attention to detail with a strong sense of stock accuracy and control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Preferred Candidate
- Candidates from Retail, FMCG, Kitchenware, Cookware, Utensils, or Consumer Durables industries preferred.
- Experience in handling retail store inventory and merchandise will be an advantage.
- Should be disciplined, accountable, and comfortable with physical stock handling and store operations.
