Role Overview
Join the founder's team as the company's AI automation champion. You'll work directly with the CEO to identify, build, and deploy AI-driven automation across Sales, Customer Success, and Operations. This role combines technical execution with strategic thinking—you'll shadow teams to understand their pain points, prototype solutions quickly, and scale what works.
Key Responsibilities
Discovery & Strategy
- Partner with the CEO to identify high-impact automation opportunities across the organization
- Shadow Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams to map workflows, identify bottlenecks, and discover repetitive manual tasks
Execution & Implementation
- Design and deploy AI-powered automations for operational processes, reporting, and internal workflows
- Build dashboards and analytics systems to track performance, customer engagement, and operational efficiency
- Create AI-based workflows that enhance productivity across customer-facing and internal teams
- Prototype and test new automation solutions rapidly; iterate based on user feedback
Enablement & Adoption
- Train team members on new automation tools and workflows
- Act as internal champion for AI adoption; drive change management and user adoption
Innovation & Learning
- Stay current with AI/ML releases, automation platforms, and workflow tools (Claude, OpenAI, Make, Zapier, n8n, etc.)
- Experiment with emerging AI capabilities and assess fit for company needs
- Share learnings and recommendations with leadership on new automation opportunities
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency with no-code/low-code automation platforms (Make, Zapier, n8n)
- Experience with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and prompt engineering
- Familiarity with API integrations and webhooks
Business & Soft Skills
- Strong stakeholder management—ability to work with non-technical teams
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical solutions into business value
- Analytical mindset with ability to quantify time savings and ROI
- Self-starter who can work autonomously and manage multiple projects
