We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the organization's accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting activities, supervise the accounts team, and support management with financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping in accordance with accounting standards.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
- Oversee GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances (as applicable).
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Manage payroll accounting and employee reimbursements.
- Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and payment transactions.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and accounting policies.
- Supervise and mentor the accounts team, ensuring productivity and accuracy.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- CA, CMA, CPA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- 2-5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, including team management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
