- ITI in Electrician / Wireman / Electrical Trade
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (preferred but not mandatory)
Job Summary
The Junior Electrician (Fresher) will assist in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities at project sites. The role involves supporting senior electricians and engineers in executing electrical work safely and efficiently as per EPC project standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Execution
- Assist in installation of electrical equipment, panels, cable trays, and conduits.
- Support cable laying, cable dressing, and termination activities.
- Assist in installation of lighting systems, earthing systems, and power distribution boards.
- Help in mounting and wiring of electrical panels and junction boxes.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Assist in basic electrical fault finding and rectification.
- Support preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Replace defective electrical components such as switches, fuses, and wiring.
Testing & Commissioning Support:
- Assist engineers in testing of electrical circuits and equipment.
- Support insulation resistance testing and continuity checks.
- Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Safety & Compliance:
- Follow electrical safety rules and company safety guidelines.
- Use proper PPE while performing electrical work.
- Maintain housekeeping and safe work practices at site.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain basic records of electrical work performed.
- Report issues or abnormalities to the site supervisor or engineer.
- Assist in maintaining tools and equipment.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and installation.
- Understanding of electrical tools and instruments.
- Ability to read simple electrical drawings (basic level).
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety practices.
- Willingness to work at project sites.
Preferred Skills :
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
- Basic knowledge of motors, panels, and transformers.
- Familiarity with cable termination and earthing work.

- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
- Physically fit for site work.
- Good discipline and safety awareness.
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
