About the Company
We are a fast-growing travel company specializing in flight bookings, hotel reservations, holiday packages, cruises, car rentals, and travel technology solutions. We are looking for a skilled Backend Web Developer to build secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications that support our travel operations and customer booking platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications and RESTful APIs.
- Design and manage SQL databases, ensuring performance, security, and data integrity.
- Integrate third-party travel APIs such as GDS, airline, hotel, payment gateways, and CRM systems.
- Develop booking engines, search modules, pricing, and itinerary management systems.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing components with backend services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best development practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Node.js, PHP (Laravel), Python (Django/Flask), or .NET Core.
- Proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Knowledge of API authentication (JWT, OAuth) and web security best practices.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and caching technologies (Redis) is preferred.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience working with travel booking systems, GDS integrations (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo), or travel APIs is highly preferred.
- Understanding of payment gateway integrations and travel industry workflows is a plus.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
