Our client is pioneer in Automation software colutions who is seeking a Sales Manager to drive the B2B software sales of compliance management software solutions tailored for microbiology and quality control departments in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will lead our go-to-market efforts, driving revenue growth by identifying and closing opportunities with pharma manufacturers who need to meet stringent regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA, GMP, GxP). This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of life sciences, pharma regulations, and a passion for helping clients improve lab efficiency, data integrity, and regulatory compliance (21 CFR Part 11, GMP, GxP).
This role requires strong knowledge of regulatory compliance challenges in pharma manufacturing, excellent relationship-building skills, and a strategic approach to enterprise sales
Key Responsibilities:
· Understand client needs in environmental monitoring, microbial testing, deviation/CAPA management, and translate them into tailored solution proposals.
· Conduct product demos and technical presentations to microbiology teams, quality leaders, and compliance officers.
· Collaborate with product and implementation teams to ensure successful handoff and customer satisfaction.
· Stay up to date on pharma regulations (FDA, EMA, WHO, MHRA), lab practices, and digital transformation trends.
· Represent the company at life sciences conferences, industry events, and customer meetings.
· Position the company as a trusted partner in regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and quality management.
· Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor messaging and campaigns that resonate with pharma manufacturing audiences.
· Identify, qualify, and pursue sales opportunities with pharmaceutical manufacturers, focusing on microbiology/QC departments.
Skills
· 5 years of enterprise B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in life sciences, pharma tech, or compliance software.
· Knowledge of microbiology, quality control, or compliance processes in regulated pharma manufacturing environments.
· Familiarity with regulatory standards like 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, GxP, and data integrity principles (ALCOA+).
· Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
· Experience conducting product demos and working with technical teams.
· Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Experience:
· Experience selling compliance/QMS/LIMS/EM or lab automation software.
· Strong network within pharma manufacturing or lab quality circles.
· Understanding of microbiology lab operations, sterility testing, or EM practices
