Job Summary
ModiGold Pipes Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, machinery spares, consumables, and other operational requirements. The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement at the best quality and competitive prices while maintaining strong vendor relationships and uninterrupted production operations. Key Responsibilities
- Procure raw materials such as PVC Resin, CPVC Compound, HDPE Granules, additives, stabilizers, packaging materials, and engineering consumables.
- Source and develop new vendors while maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, conduct comparative analysis, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) through the ERP system.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Accounts departments to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Track purchase orders and follow up with vendors for timely deliveries.
- Verify supplier invoices, delivery challans, and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability without overstocking.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor database, and MIS reports.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, pricing, and service.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
- Diploma/Certification in Materials Management or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in PVC Pipes, Plastic Manufacturing, Polymer, Chemical, or Building Materials Industry.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
- Experience with ERP software (SAP, Tally Prime, Busy, Oracle, or similar).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS Reporting).
