Job Summary
The Senior Executive – Warehouse Operations is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, inventory management, and dispatch of goods. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, improving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve service-level objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound dispatch activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate receipt and issuance of materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock audits.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and implement best storage practices.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, inventory accuracy, dispatch turnaround time, and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, housekeeping standards (5S), and company policies.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Supervise and guide warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.
- Maintain warehouse documentation, stock records, and reports using ERP/WMS systems.
- Coordinate transportation and dispatch schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with statutory and quality requirements.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 6–7 years of experience in warehouse or supply chain operations.
- Experience working with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Experience leading warehouse teams and coordinating cross-functional operations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory control.
- Good understanding of warehouse KPIs and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/WMS applications.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and regulatory compliance
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
