Job Description: Academic Counselor (Student Tele-Counseling)
Role Summary: We are looking for a persuasive and empathetic Academic Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will be the voice of our institution, reaching out to students and parents to guide them through their educational journey. Your primary goal is to provide expert advice on our courses and convert enquiries into successful admissions through professional tele-consultation.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Calling: Proactively call prospective students from provided leads to introduce our programs (e.g., NEET Crash Course, Career Guidance).
- Educational Counseling: Explain course features, curriculum, fee structures, and career opportunities clearly to students and parents.
- Lead Nurturing: Maintain a follow-up pipeline to resolve doubts and encourage enrollment.
- Target Achievement: Meet daily calling quotas and monthly admission targets as set by the management.
- Data Management: Accurately update the CRM or lead tracker with call status, remarks, and student details.
- Coordination: Work closely with the field marketing team (BDOs) to ensure a smooth admission process for interested candidates.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Graduate in any stream (Highly preferred) or Plus Two with relevant experience.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Malayalam is mandatory. Functional English is a strong plus.
- Communication: Exceptional listening skills and the ability to handle objections gracefully over the phone.
- Mindset: A sales-driven attitude with a focus on helping students find the right career path.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
