seeking a dedicated and qualified Assistant Professor to join our Department of Biochemistry. We are looking for an academic professional passionate about medical education, clinical biochemistry, and advancing research in the field. You will play a key role in bridging basic science with clinical application for our MBBS and postgraduate students.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Teaching: Deliver high-quality theory lectures, small group discussions, and practical laboratory sessions for MBBS and postgraduate students.
- Laboratory Management: Supervise clinical biochemistry laboratory operations, ensuring quality control, accurate testing, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Curriculum & Assessment: Participate in designing the curriculum, setting examination papers, and conducting student assessments.
- Research & Mentorship: Lead original research projects, mentor student dissertations, and publish in indexed journals.
- Institutional Compliance: Maintain full compliance with National Medical Commission (NMC) teaching and infrastructure norms.
Required Qualifications
- Education: MBBS with MD/DNB in Biochemistry from a recognized institution.
- Note for Non-Medical: Candidates with an M.Sc. (Medical Biochemistry) followed by a Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry obtained through a regular on-campus course are also eligible as per NMC regulations.
- Experience: Teaching experience in a recognized medical college is preferred. Fresh post-graduates meeting NMC criteria for the post of Assistant Professor are encouraged to apply.
- Registration: Medical graduates must hold a valid registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Skills: Proficient in modern biochemical diagnostic techniques, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to evidence-based medical education.
Pay: Up to ₹135,000.00 per month
