Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled, passionate Baker to join our team.
You will handle our daily scratch production, prepping and baking high quality pastries, cookies and signature baked goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Production: Bake breads, cakes and cookies and prepare desserts from scratch.
- Oven Operations: Manage commercial ovens, precisely controlling bake times and temperatures.
- Quality and Consistency: Ensure high standards for preservation, taste and portion control.
- Kitchen Safety: Maintain a clean, organized station and follow strict food safety codes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of professional baking experience in a commercial kitchen or specialty bakery.
- Technical Skills: Skilled in artisanal breads (fermentation/shaping) and laminated dough alongside proficiency in tarts, pastries, custard, and cakes.
- Precision: Exceptional attention to detail in scaling ingredients and tracking proofing times.
Schedule and Benefits
- Hours: Daytime shift starting from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including weekends. No overnight or late night-shifts required.
