The Syllabus Coordinator plays a central role in ensuring that every student at ScienceGenic receives a structured, personalized, and goal-oriented learning experience. The position is responsible for planning, monitoring, and coordinating the academic journey of students while acting as the bridge between educators, students, parents, and management.
Unlike a traditional academic coordinator, a Syllabus Coordinator focuses on creating customized study plans, tracking syllabus completion, improving learning efficiency, and ensuring that each student progresses according to their academic goals and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Academic Planning
- Design personalized academic plans and study schedules for each student.
- Analyze the student's strengths, weaknesses, learning pace, and academic objectives.
- Create subject-wise and chapter-wise completion timelines.
- Ensure syllabus coverage is aligned with school examinations, board examinations, and competitive examinations where applicable.
2. Syllabus Management and Monitoring
- Track syllabus completion for every student and educator.
- Ensure classes are conducted according to the planned academic schedule.
- Monitor pending topics, revisions, and test schedules.
- Maintain academic records and progress reports.
3. Coordination with Educators
- Provide educators with teaching schedules, lesson plans, and academic targets.
- Ensure educators follow the customized teaching methodology designed for each student.
- Conduct regular reviews with educators regarding student performance and syllabus progress.
- Assist educators in improving academic delivery and classroom efficiency.
4. Student Performance Analysis
- Analyze test results, assignments, and classroom performance.
- Identify learning gaps and recommend corrective academic strategies.
- Arrange additional practice sessions, revision plans, or remedial support whenever required.
- Ensure continuous academic improvement and goal achievement.
5. Parent Communication
- Provide regular updates to parents regarding syllabus completion and student progress.
- Discuss academic challenges and recommend improvement plans.
- Maintain transparent communication regarding attendance, assessments, and performance trends.
- Academic Quality Assurance
- Ensure academic standards and teaching quality are maintained across all programs.
- Coordinate assessments, tests, and revision schedules.
- Support implementation of new teaching methods and educational strategies.
- Work closely with psychologists, educators, and academic teams to improve learning outcomes.

- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Education, Science, Commerce, Arts, Management, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.

- Proficiency in spreadsheets, academic tracking systems, and digital tools is preferred.
