About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our Digital Marketing team. This internship is an excellent opportunity to learn Search Engine Optimization (SEO), keyword research, content optimization, technical SEO, and website performance while working on real e-commerce projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in keyword research and competitor analysis.
- Optimize product pages, category pages, and blog content for search engines.
- Support on-page SEO activities, including meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and image alt tags.
- Perform website audits to identify SEO issues.
- Monitor website rankings and organic traffic using SEO tools.
- Assist in creating SEO-friendly content and blog articles.
- Build and maintain internal linking across the website.
- Coordinate with the content, design, and development teams for SEO implementation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and digital marketing practices.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts.
- Knowledge of Google Search, Google Trends, and keyword research.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and WordPress is a plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Eligibility
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Digital Marketing or SEO certification is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of e-commerce platforms.
- Understanding of AI tools such as ChatGPT or other content-generation tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
