Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Appian Developer / Architect to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level applications using the Appian BPM platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Appian architecture, integration strategies, and API development, ensuring seamless connectivity between Appian and other enterprise systems such as Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable Appian applications, workflows, and interfaces.
- Architect solutions that integrate Appian with external systems (e.g., Salesforce, ERP, CRM, and custom applications).
- Develop and manage APIs to enable secure and efficient data exchange across platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior developers.
- Ensure best practices in coding, performance optimization, and application security.
- Conduct system analysis, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
- Document architecture, integration flows, and technical specifications for clarity and transparency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Appian Developer / Architect with end-to-end project delivery.
- Strong expertise in Appian BPM platform (design, rules, process models, interfaces, plugins).
- Hands-on experience integrating Appian with external systems, particularly Salesforce.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and web services.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Appian Level 2 or Level 3 certification.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
