JOB DESCRIPTION:
Purchasing and Vendor Management
· Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
· Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
· Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
· Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
· Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
· Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
· Assess, manage and mitigate risks
· Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
· Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
· Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
· Review and analyse vendor performance, quality, and delivery to ensure compliance with standards and resolve any issues that may arise
Inventory Management:
· Develop and implement inventory management strategies, including forecasting, replenishment, and allocation of clothing items.
· Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with store management to maintain optimal stock levels based on sales data and seasonal trends.
· Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
· Analyse inventory turnover rates and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock, taking necessary actions to reduce excess inventory.
· Develops business relationships with suppliers and clients.
· Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
