Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Panel Wiring Technician to assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels for SPM (Special Purpose Machine) automation projects. The candidate should be able to read electrical drawings, perform panel wiring, and support machine installation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical panel wiring as per electrical schematics.
- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and GA drawings.
- Mount electrical components such as MCBs, relays, contactors, SMPS, PLCs, VFDs, terminal blocks, and HMIs.
- Route and terminate control and power cables neatly.
- Label wires and components according to standards.
- Perform continuity, insulation, and functional testing of panels.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain tools, wiring materials, and documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of panel wiring and control panel assembly.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFD, sensors, relays, and electrical components.
- Experience in cable dressing, ferruling, crimping, and termination.
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools (Multimeter, Megger, Clamp Meter).
- Basic troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Qualification
- ITI Electrician / Wireman / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
Preferred Experience
- 0–5 years in SPM Automation, Control Panel Wiring, Machine Wiring, or Industrial Automation.
