Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated Software Developer Intern to join our team and contribute
to the development of the RIKA platform.
The selected candidate will work directly with the Founder and play a key role in building the Minimum
Viable Product (MVP), including the mobile application, emergency alert system, and command center
dashboard.
This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in startup product development and work on a
technology solution with meaningful social impact.
Key Responsibilities
Mobile Application Development
- Develop and maintain the RIKA mobile application using Flutter.
- Build user onboarding and authentication workflows.
- Implement user profile management features.
- Develop emergency contact management modules.
- Create SOS activation and incident creation workflows.
Backend Integration Integrate Firebase Authentication.
- Work with Firebase Firestore Database.
- Implement push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
- Develop APIs and backend integrations as required.
Location & Emergency Features
- Integrate Google Maps APIs.
- Implement live location sharing functionality.
- Develop incident tracking and status update mechanisms.
- Ensure smooth communication between the app and backend services.
Dashboard Development
- Assist in building the RIKA Command Center Dashboard.
- Develop incident monitoring and management features.
- Create interfaces for viewing active alerts and incident details.
Testing & Deployment
- Conduct testing and debugging activities.
- Participate in performance optimization.
- Assist in preparing the application for pilot launch and deployment.
