Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled 6G Welder with experience in welding pipes and structural components in the 6G position. The candidate should be proficient in TIG (GTAW), ARC/SMAW, and MIG welding processes, capable of reading engineering drawings, and committed to producing high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform 6G pipe welding using TIG (GTAW), SMAW (ARC), and MIG welding processes.
- Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel materials.
- Interpret welding symbols, WPS (Welding Procedure Specification), and engineering drawings.
- Prepare joints by cutting, grinding, beveling, and fitting materials before welding.
- Conduct visual inspection of welds and rectify defects when required.
- Operate welding machines and related fabrication equipment safely.
- Maintain welding consumables, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
- Support fabrication, assembly, and production teams to meet delivery schedules.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in 6G pipe welding.
- Strong knowledge of TIG (GTAW), SMAW (ARC), and MIG welding.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- ITI in Welder/Fitter or equivalent technical qualification.
- Valid 6G Welding Certification (ASME/API/AWS preferred).
Experience:
- 3–8 years of experience as a 6G Pipe Welder in the valve, oil & gas, pressure vessel, piping, or heavy engineering industry.
