Job Opportunity
We’re hiring a detail-oriented Cash Allocation Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for accurately allocating incoming payments, matching them to customer invoices, and ensuring records are updated in a timely manner to maintain healthy cash flow.

What you will be doing

Record and apply customer payments (NEFT, cheque, etc.) in SAP, ensuring accurate invoice matching

Process receipts and maintain up-to-date accounting records to support cash flow visibility

Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts

Track and manage unallocated cash, advances, and short payments, working with customers and internal teams to close gaps

Prepare and share daily cash collection reports, including receipts, advances, and mismatches

Maintain receipt registers and support credit control with accurate data for collections

Handle TDS and GST-related accounting entries, including reconciliation and discrepancy tracking

Support monthly closing activities, including AR ageing and cash forecasting inputs

Assist during audits and compliance reviews, ensuring documentation and controls are in place

Drive follow-ups for intercompany collections and overdue receivables

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Credit Control, Tax, Finance) to improve accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:

Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable / Cash Application processes

Working knowledge of GST and TDS (calculation, accounting, reconciliation)

Hands-on experience with SAP (including relevant T-codes for AR & cash posting)

Solid Excel skills (lookups, basic reporting, data handling)

High attention to detail and ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies

Good communication skills to coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders

Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Awareness of audit requirements and financial controls
