Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and qualified PGT Psychology Teacher cum Counsellor who can teach senior secondary classes and provide guidance and emotional support to students. The ideal candidate should be able to address students’ academic, social, and emotional concerns while fostering a positive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Psychology to Classes XI–XII as per CBSE curriculum
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons with real-life applications and case-based discussions
- Provide individual and group counselling sessions for students
- Address emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns of students
- Conduct workshops on mental health, stress management, career guidance, and life skills
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student well-being
- Maintain confidential student records and counselling reports
- Assist in career counselling and subject selection guidance
Qualifications & Skills
- Postgraduate in Psychology with B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- Diploma/Certification in Guidance & Counselling preferred
- Strong understanding of adolescent psychology
- Excellent communication, empathy, and listening skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience in school counselling preferred
