IT Senior Business Consultant – Manufacturing Execution System
The IT Consultant role in the Real Estate team is responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of digital solutions for Facility Management and Real Estate portfolio management. He/She will have a deep understanding how facility management processes are designed in the field. He/She will participate in the optimization and digitalization of the facility management process and the Real Estate portfolio management. He/she will manage and resolve issues for the team Real Estate and support the teams remotely. He/she will be carrying out Upgrades, Rollouts and Configurations of our implemented solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect requirements and maps business processes to digital solutions for plant maintenance
- Guide developers and external suppliers in the implementation of BSH-specific features and customizing of solution
- Contribute to high-quality deliverables and solutions by, e.g., testing of new implementations against business demands
- Configures and customizes systems based on business requirements (e.g. factory roll-outs)
- Prepare, organize and conduct trainings with operation team, business and regional IT colleagues
- Guidance and assistance of remote Operations team and business customers to check and ensure resolution of all issues to achieve all objectives
- Working in an Agile scrum team together with other teams on exciting solutions for global Industry 4.0 solutions
- Strong technical background with a degree in IT, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Extensive experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and discrete production processes.
- Proficiency in SAP RE module.
- Good knowledge in troubleshooting SAP applications.
- Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum) and tools (Jira, SNOW etc)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-organized with an agile mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience in intercultural collaboration.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of software engineering experience and working knowledge of SAP RE
- Experience with RE-modules and S4/HANA
- Experience working in an Agile scrum team in a fast paced, collaborative environment and the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Fluent in English, plus strong verbal and written communication skills
5 or more years of relevant experience.
