The organization will provide free accommodation (private room) within the hostel premises.
Job Summary:
The Hostel Warden is responsible for the overall administration, discipline, safety, security, and smooth functioning of the hostel. The selected candidate will reside on the hostel premises and be available to handle routine operations as well as emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reside in the hostel premises and ensure 24×7 supervision.
- Maintain discipline and enforce hostel rules and regulations.
- Monitor the attendance, entry, and exit of hostel residents.
- Ensure the safety and security of all residents.
- Handle emergencies and coordinate with management when required.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper upkeep of hostel facilities.
- Supervise housekeeping, maintenance, and other support staff.
- Maintain hostel records, visitor registers, complaint registers, and inventory.
- Ensure hostel property and assets are properly maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas.
- Report any disciplinary issues, damages, or safety concerns to management..
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Graduate (preferred).
- Age: 25 years or above.
- Previous experience as a Hostel Warden, Facility Supervisor, or in hostel administration is preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of handling emergency situations.
- Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer knowledge is an added advantage.
Working Condition:
- Residential position with mandatory stay in the hostel.
- Available on-call for emergencies at all times.
- Weekly off as per organizational policy, subject to operational requirements.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per hour
