1. Factory Labour & Industrial Relations (IR)
- Plant HR Advisory: Provide strategic legal counsel to factory HR/Plant Managers on daily operational issues, employee misconduct, and disciplinary actions.
- Disciplinary Procedures: Draft charge sheets, suspension notices, and warning letters; handhold plant management through domestic inquiries to mitigate unfair labor practice risks.
- Contract Labour Management: Monitor compliance under the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act (CLRA). Audit third-party vendor practices to eliminate "principal employer" liabilities.
- Union & Collective Bargaining: Assist senior management in interpreting long-term settlements, managing union dynamics, and handling collective disputes or strike notices.
- Government Liaison: Support factory teams during inspections by Factory Inspectors, Labor Commissioners, EPF, and ESIC authorities.
2. Corporate Office Employment Law
- Contract & Policy Drafting: Draft and review corporate employment contracts, executive offer letters, non-compete agreements, and separation/severance packages.
- Policy Frameworks: Update employee handbooks, code of conduct policies, and HR manuals to reflect shifting modern workplace trends and legal mandates.
- Workplace Investigations & POSH: Oversee compliance regarding the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, guiding internal committees through sensitive workplace investigations.
3. Litigation & Dispute Resolution
- Drafting & Representation: Prepare legal notices, written statements, appeals, and rejoinders for both corporate and factory disputes.
- External Counsel Management: Coordinate with external advocates representing the company before Labour Courts, Industrial Tribunals, and High Courts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Master of Laws (LLM) from a recognized university.
- Experience: 3–4 years of post-qualification experience
- Language Proficiency: English & Marathi (mandatory)
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
