Job Role:
Jothydev's Diabetes Hospital & Research Centre is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support the Finance & Accounts Department. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and process vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash and bank records.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Maintain vendor and customer account records.
- Verify bills, expense claims, and supporting documents.
- Assist with payroll-related accounting activities when required.
- Generate financial reports and MIS reports as directed.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial documents.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as required.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally ERP/TallyPrime or similar ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with integrity.
