- Responsible for managing and optimizing the operations of 9 Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) for both new product development and serial production.
- Lead new part development by establishing efficient machining processes, selecting tooling, and validating manufacturing methods.
- Monitor daily production activities to ensure achievement of production, quality, and delivery targets.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, and improve product quality.
- Drive cycle time reduction initiatives through process optimization, tooling improvements, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Plan and allocate machine capacity in accordance with the Production Planning and Control (PPC) schedule to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
- Analyze daily production plan versus actual performance and implement corrective actions to address production deviations.
- Manage shop-floor manpower by optimizing workforce allocation and improving operational efficiency.
- Ensure maximum machine utilization by minimizing downtime and improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Collaborate with Design, Quality, Tool Room, and Supply Chain teams to support new product introduction and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized workplace by implementing 5S and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Troubleshoot machining and process-related issues to improve production stability and product consistency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on lean manufacturing, waste elimination, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and customer-specific manufacturing requirements.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
