Job Summary:
The Accounts Assistant supports the finance department by managing daily accounting tasks. They play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, handling accounts payable/receivable, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Handle vendor payments and follow-up on outstanding receivables.
- Maintain proper documentation of all transactions and financial records.
- Assist in audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (fresher with internship experience may also apply).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Working knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
