The Guest Relations Executive (GRE) is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming experience for guests from arrival to departure. The role involves greeting guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating, handling guest feedback, and ensuring exceptional customer service to enhance the overall dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage guest reservations, waitlists, and table allocations efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and coordinate with the service team for smooth seating.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure guests receive excellent service throughout their dining experience.
- Coordinate with the restaurant manager, captains, and stewards to maintain seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate reservation records and guest preferences.
- Assist in managing peak-hour guest flow and waiting queues.
- Follow up with guests to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
- Promote restaurant offers, loyalty programs, and upcoming events when applicable.
- Maintain high standards of grooming, hygiene, and professionalism.
- Ensure the reception and waiting area is clean, organized, and presentable.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude.
- Ability to handle guest concerns calmly and professionally.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with reservation systems/MS Office.
- Well-groomed personality and professional appearance.
