## About the Role
We are looking for an **Event Decor Designer** with a strong creative eye, refined aesthetic sense and practical understanding of event décor execution.
The role involves taking a client's vision from **concept to execution** — developing décor concepts and presentations, coordinating with production and fabrication teams, and ensuring the final setup is delivered to the expected design and quality standards.
The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable with creative design, client presentations, vendor coordination and on-site event execution.
## Key Responsibilities
* Conceptualize and design décor setups for luxury weddings, corporate events and private celebrations.
* Understand client requirements, event themes, preferences, venue characteristics and budgets.
* Develop creative décor concepts, themes, colour palettes, styling ideas and design elements.
* Create mood boards, design presentations, reference decks and visual concepts for client presentations.
* Prepare and present décor concepts to clients and incorporate feedback into final designs.
* Coordinate with production, fabrication, floral, lighting, logistics and other event teams for execution.
* Work closely with vendors and fabrication teams to ensure designs are translated accurately on-site.
* Conduct venue visits and understand dimensions, layouts, structures and practical execution requirements.
* Monitor installation and dismantling at event venues and ensure the final décor matches the approved concept.
* Conduct quality checks on materials, finishing, styling and overall presentation.
* Manage multiple décor projects and timelines simultaneously.
* Suggest creative upgrades, styling enhancements and additional décor elements based on client requirements.
* Stay updated with current wedding décor trends, international event styling, colour palettes, materials and design techniques.
* Travel to venues and destination events across India and overseas as required.
## Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum **2+ years of experience** in event décor, wedding décor, event design, interior styling or a related field.
* Strong understanding of event décor concepts, materials, fabrication and on-ground execution.
* Excellent aesthetic sense with a strong understanding of colours, proportions, textures and visual composition.
* Proficiency in **Canva and PowerPoint**.
* Working knowledge of **Photoshop or CorelDRAW** is preferred.
* Knowledge of 3D design or visualisation software is an added advantage.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into practical design concepts.
* Strong coordination and project management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, vendors and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends, based on event schedules.
## Preferred Experience
* Experience in luxury or premium weddings.
* Experience designing décor for destination weddings.
* Experience working directly with clients.
* Experience coordinating with fabrication and production vendors.
* Knowledge of floral design, lighting, furniture styling and event production.
* A portfolio of previous event décor or wedding design work.
