We are seeking a skilled Informatica Cloud Admin to manage, maintain, and optimize our cloud-based Informatica environment. The role is responsible for administration of data integration services, security and access controls, performance tuning, monitoring, and supporting development and operations teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure data movement between on-premises and cloud systems.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Informatica Cloud environments, including tenant setup, service configurations, and agent management.
- Deploy, schedule, and monitor secure data integration jobs and tasks across cloud and on-premises systems.
- Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and single sign-on integrations with Identity and Access Management solutions.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, data governance policies, and encryption for data in transit and at rest.
- Troubleshoot failures, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation with development and infrastructure teams.
- Optimize performance of data mappings, workflows, and agents; perform capacity planning and tuning.
- Design and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability strategies for Informatica services.
- Automate routine administration tasks using scripts and orchestration tools; integrate with CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures; provide on-call support as required.
- Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and stakeholders to onboard new data sources and ensure integration reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Informatica Cloud or similar cloud data integration platforms; experience with Informatica PowerCenter is a plus.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid integration patterns.
- Proven experience with security, IAM, SSO, LDAP/Active Directory integrations, and encryption techniques.
- Experience with APIs, RESTful API integrations, JSON and XML data formats.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation (Bash, shell scripting) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Excellent troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning skills for data integration workloads.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
- Relevant certifications (Informatica, cloud provider certifications) are a plus.
